- Life Skills Hospitality Group reserves the right to alter or cancel a class without notice.
- Acknowledgement is accepted that "you" or your "carer" where applicable fully understand the Terms and Conditions set out by LSHG upon full payment of class fees.
BOOKINGS AND TRANSFERS
- Bookings are considered 'confirmed' upon receipt of full payment only. Places cannot be held without payment. Payment must be made no later than two weeks prior to the start date of the course.
- Bookings made via the website 'unconfirmed' will receive email confirmation. Once payment has been received either by Bank Deposit, Money Order or Cheque we will confirm your placement.
- Bookings may only be transferred to another class two weeks prior to the start date of the course.
- All enrolments are subject to the approval by Life Skills Hospitality Group.
REFUND POLICY
- Participants are entitled to a full refund of fees and charges where:
- A course is cancelled or re-scheduled to a time or location unsuitable to the student.
- A participant is not given a place due to the class being full.
- A participant withdraws prior to course commencement due to serious illness, injury or disability that prevents the student from attending the course (Medical certificate is required).
- After the start of classes a pro-rata refund of the registration fee may be considered for serious medical reasons ONLY (Medical certificate is required)
- There are NO other grounds for refunds.
- Applications for refunds are to be made to: Life Skills Hospitality Refunds, Po Box 6727, East Perth WA 6892.
- Please note refunds will be made in the form of a cheque only.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
- The consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted before or during practical cooking classes.
- For the safety of the individual and others, persons deemed by our staff to be intoxicated will not be allowed to participate in a class.
- In classes where it is specified that ‘matched wine/beer is included', there is strict allowance of two glasses of wine or beer per participant included in your booking. This alcohol is only to be consumed as part of the sit-down meal at the conclusion of cooking.
CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
- As a matter of Health & Safety, we require that all participants wear closed shoes, preferably leather, and no loose articles of clothing. Individuals wearing shorts, thongs, open-toed shoes or sandals will not be allowed to participate in a class.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Applicants will agree to abide by all of the Occupational Health and Safety guidelines set out by Life Skills Hospitality Group. This is available on request.
- The Trainer reserves the right to cancel any class or eject any student.
- A basic first aid kit is on hand during every class. If special requirements are needed this becomes the responsibility of the student ( carer).
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
- Life Skills Hospitality Group does not cater for individual dietary requirements beyond what is denoted on the class schedule.
- On the registration form you must list any allergies you have. if they are not listed then we will be unaware of any allergies you may have.
- We are unable to provide alternatives or substitute ingredients for participants with special dietary needs.
MENU CHANGES
- Menus listed on our website are examples only and may differ due to seasonal variance and may be subject to change without notice.
- Depending on your course option you will be provided with a list of ingredients to bring before the date of your class
DURING AND ON COMPLETION OF CLASS
- It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure a clean and safe working environment is observed at all times.
- All participants are required to wash own dishes and clean their work area on completion of each class. (within guidelines set by LSHG)
- Participants are reminded that when using a LSHG facility, colour coding and labeling may be in place and are to be observed.
- It is requested participants arrive 15 minutes prior to the commencement of class.
- All participants are to ensure all utensils and the like belonging to LSHG or its facilities are returned at the end of each class.
